Step 1

UNSURE? BOOK A FREE 15 MIN CONSULTATION

Book a free 15 min consultation with Dr. Janine either in person or virtually using Zoom to discuss your health goals and concerns. From here Dr. Janine can provide you information about Functional Medicine and how it may help your unique body. If you are feeling empowered and would like to work with Dr. Janine the we can go to STEP 2.

 

If you are 100% in then no need for a free consult, Dr. J can book your initial appointment either virtually or in person- STEP 2. 

Step 2

INITIAL FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE + HEALTH COACHING CONSULTATION

If you are ready and empowered, complete the form below and Dr. J can book your initial appointment either virtually or in person. Dr. J will email you a comprehensive health history form that you can complete in the comfort of your own home. The initial appointment is about gathering as much information as possible to assess the interconnectedness of your symptoms. After completion of this visit, Dr. J will recommend any conventional or functional labs needed. Educational handouts and basic programming will be emailed to you for review.

 

Note: If a physical exam is warranted, an in-person appointment may be necessary. If further workup is needed outside the scope of practice, Dr. J can provide the referral.

Step 3

PLAN DEVELOPMENT + REVIEW

Dr. J will create and develop a customized program that is specific to your needs, goals and barriers. The plan will include information from the history, previous and new labs. The program design and lab interpretation  typically takes 2-6 days depending on the case. This session will focus on program and lab review to discuss how your results coincide with your individual needs, current lifestyle, budget and goals. Dr. J will draw out a roadmap and explain things that may be affecting metabolism, detoxification pathways, hormones, gut health, nutrients etc. Your customized plan may include foundational and targeted supplement protocols, dietary interventions, exercise and various lifestyle recommendations. Everyone is on a different journey and Dr. J will do her best to meet you where you are so that you can take your health to the next level.  

Step 4

FOLLOW UPS + COACHING

Follow up appointments can vary anywhere from weekly, to bi-weekly to monthly depending on your functional medicine program and your specific needs. Health coaching may be of interest to those that need continual, on-going support. Coaching is done on a monthly basis with weekly check-ins, on-going support for upgraded health that may include dietary changes, home assessment, food label reading, exercise progressions, supplement review and other program updates.
